Entrance to the Timanfaya National Park
Enjoy a full day excursion through a landscape that looks like a parallel world. A place rich in nuances and desolate at the same time created by the last volcanic eruptions in the 18th century.
We will cross different areas of special environmental protection such as the Timanfaya National Park, the Volcanoes Natural Park and the wine region of La Geria, an example of adaptation and use of unique terrains in the world.
In the area of Timanfaya we will reach the Fuego Mountains, location of the famous "Route of the Volcanoes" and the geothermal demonstrations in the Islet of Hilaro, where the earth continues to give off the heat generated by the eruptions that took place about 3 centuries ago.
Already in the Natural Park of the Volcanoes, you can opt with charge to ride a camel to stroll along the slopes of a volcano or take photos and see the small homage that our land makes to these unique animals in the Echadero de Camellos.
Continuing to the South of the island, you can admire the "Lava Coast", which includes a stop in the gulf town to visit the Green Lake, and, en route, a panoramic view of the Salinas del Janubio, one of the historic economical engines of Lanzarote and Los Hervideros.
A stop in the charming town of Yaiza to enjoy a lunch and another in the area of La Geria, to understand the formula found by farmers to grow vineyards, will set the cherry on this entertaining route during which our guides will help to observe and interpret all these exceptional landscapes.
