The route offer us three different stages:
The first part begins at an inland area visiting Guatiza and Mala, two small towns with their thousands of “tuneras” (prickly pear), dedicated to the traditional cochineal crop, a parasite used to make the well known natural colorant E-120. (It will surprise you).
Next, from Tabayesco driving up the stunning Temisa Valley we will arrive to the Mirador de Los Helechos, an spectacular viewpoint over the Valley of Las Mil Palmeras and its main town Haría.
The second part takes us to Teguise through the “Ermita de Las Nieves” a chapel located in a magical setting next to Peñas del Chache the highest point of the Island, to continue to Caleta de Famara with its wonderful beach.
The third part takes us through La Santa and Tinajo to stop in the small village of Tao and have lunch. After, driving through the Natural Park of Los Volcanes, a 30-minute walk to the volcano El Cuervo will leave us literally: inside the center of its crater, an amazing experience before to finish the journey
