Lunch with beverage optional 20 minutes camel rideEntrances to the National Park of Timanfaya and Jameos del Agua
Discover the most important highlights of Lanzarote and its unique volcanic landscapes.
During the excursion you'll learn about the contrasts of the entire island, the Timanfaya and the Corona volcanoes.
The last volcanic eruptions, which lasted for about six years, date from the year 1730. These eruptions led to a natural extension of the territory and to an almost unstoppable migration wave! This and many other things will be explained by the tour guide, as you drive through the beautiful landscapes of El Golfo, Lago Verde, Los Hervideros, Las Salinas del Janubio, La Geria or the famous National Park of Timanfaya.
In this last park you drive along the well-known "Vulcano-Route". On the way one can observe the geothermal activity, since the soil still has plenty stored eruption heat.
While driving through this area, two stops are made. The first to experience a short ride on a camel, the second, in the wine region of La Geria and its agricultural areas.
Then the tour heads North to Teguise and the highest point of Lanzarote, Peñas del Chache, the volcano La Corona, the photogenic valley of the 1000 Palm Trees and the village of Haria.
The Jameos del Agua, a world-wide known artificial landscape that combines architecture, urbanism, creativity, art, culture and tourism in perfect harmony with a sustainable environment.
