Return tickets on the Naviera Armas ferry, Lanzarote-Fuerteventura
Transfers (see details)
Fuerteventura - known for its beaches - has so much more to offer: history, landscapes of the interior of the island, customs and habits of the inhabitants.
This tour in Fuerteventura offers the possibility to explore the second largest island of the Canaries and to experience the contrast between holiday resorts and villages of the interior. It's quite surprising how these inhabitants managed to turn the barren landscape into an important production area of goat cheese, aloe vera, tomatoes or even olive oil.
The tour begins at the pier of Playa Blanca, where you'll take the ferry to Corralejo in about 35 minutes. From there it continues to El Cotillo, La Oliva, Lajares and Tindaya.
First stop will be in La Oliva, to visit La Candelaria Church, local architectured church dated on XVIII century. Later on we will reach the old capital of Fuerteventura, Betancuria, a charming town, where you will have enough time to take a stroll and have lunch (not included).
After this stop we will visit a tipycal canarian house farm with different animals and its own cheese dairy
In our way back to the North we will cross Puerto del Rosario and we will coast up to Corralejo Dunes where you will have time enough to enjoy this Natural Reserve which every visitor must have seen to feel like a in a desert by the sea.
